Dear SCA Members,

We hope you are having a great time now that spring is approaching. With good weather, the new season is also bringing some news to the club.

New Training Schedule

We wanted to inform you that as of 4th March, Sabre training will be moved from Tuesday to Monday from 20:30 to 22:00.

This new schedule is due to the availability of the second fencing hall on Monday and the compatible availability of the coaches in that slot. As a result, Coach Arash will be available on Mondays to support and give lessons in the second fencing hall. This arrangement was discussed and approved during the last ALV. We hope this change will still be in line with your schedule, and we apologise if this may create any inconvenience.

SISTA 2024

SISTA was a big success! The weekend of 10-11 February saw many of our SCA athletes competing and wearing medals at the end of the competitions for all the weapons. The event was a great success, and we want to warmly thank everyone who participated and contributed to the organization, from the coaches to the volunteers who were at the hall for the weekend!

Coach Daniël Birthday

On Thursday, March 14, we will also celebrate our coach Daniel’s birthday. There will be a borrell after the training at the Frans Otten bar at 22.00 — please join us for a toast!
